There are a ton of reviews and videos on this rifle, and I loved watching as many as I could before I went ahead with the purchase.
The version I got was the muzzle break, NOT the faux suppressor. That looked dumb to me.
The main reason I got this was to participate with the WDSA Bowling pin shoot where PCC was the night to shoot. At first I had no idea what PCC even stood for. Pistol Caliber Carbine. Pistol calibers are typically .380 up to 44 magnum etc. Most common caliber is probably 9mm. So I decided to stick with that since I already had two other 9mm handguns at that point.
The difference between a "carbine" and a "rifle" is that Carbine means it is slightly shorter than a rifle barrel (20 inch barrel length or less). But still is shot like a rifle. The thing I like about this carbine, is that it has a folding stock and can be transported in a very short bag instead of a full rifle case. I picked it up from Denny at Red Dot for $1200 in February 2017. After shooting it a few times and watching other videos on how to upgrade this thing, I did a few upgrades:
Replacing the trigger spring was a pain. The trigger pack was welded in, and I watched youtubes on how to "Break" or Drill thru the weld, but I ended up screwing up the threads on the trigger pack screw keeping it in the trigger assembly! I was stressed out big time about that! But I found there are replacement parts you can buy for this thing and found a brand new trigger case replacement part from CZ USA which I got for $18 and I was good as gold! So that is another plus, tons of support for replacement parts!Shooting this at the PCC bowling pin night has been awesome. My first time shooting was a 4.6 average, and last time was a 2.3 average. Here are my stats.
The optic I have on this gun is a Vortex Strikefire II 4moa red dot. ($159). The iron sights on this aren't bad, but aren't sufficient for quick and fast target acquisition like a red dot.
My favorite night for bowling pin shoots is carbine night!

Update - In summer of 2019 when I'd hear about all these bans that are being suggested by California politicians running for 2020 democratic primaries, I figured if one day there is a ban on magazines, I better get going. So I went and got a 50 round drum for the CZ. It's awesome! I did notice that after firing the last round, the action doesn't hold open, it closes as if it brought around into chamber. Not a big deal, cause I could actually feel when the last round fired. Don't know how, but I could tell it was done, but the bolt wasn't captured back in an open position.
Cleaning this is a beast thought. The bolt on this thing is massive and the amount of surface area on it and inside and above the trigger pack is huge. It is a lot of surface area to clean and can take some time. I've got it down however to clean it in about 30 minutes or so for a good job. And I typically clean after EVERY time I go to the range.
Greg Larson also has this gun and loves it. He told me he hardly ever cleans his. And it seems to function just fine for him. Something in me just can't let it get dirty like that. I don't know. I guess it's part of the fun of field stripping, cleaning and reassembling knowing that it's being properly taken care of and appreciated.
This is my favorite gun and if I could only keep one. This would be it.
