This is why I don't own, or plan to buy a 10mm or 40 caliber firearm

When I purchase a firearm that introduces a new caliber to my arsenal, it means that I now have a new series of ammo that I have to purchase.  For pistol caliber, I only have to deal with:

• 22 lr
• 38 special/357 magnum
• 9mm
• 44 magnum

Here is a good reason to NOT own a 10mm or 40 caliber.  Either that, or be extremely careful and mindful of every single round you load into a mag.
